Hi, I’m Emily.

I don't think I will ever tire of taking and editing photographs. There is never an end to the learning, nuances of places, lighting, colors, and body language waiting to be captured. We’ve all heard the expression, “Don’t live through the lens!”… and if working with the camera distracts from certain moments there’s some truth to this quote. But for me, taking a photo is what pulls me deeper into a moment, helping me see more of the magic that's always around us.

I love to take photos that "feel alive", that make the viewer feel a certain spark of hope. Hope for what? That there is always more to the story, that there is more life to be lived, that there is always something mysterious waiting to happen for you.
